Job Title: Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Cardio-Thoracic Physiotherapy
Qualification and Experience: MPT in Cardio-Thoracic Physiotherapy with teaching experience of 1 to 3 years experience in a reputed Physiotherapy College.
Responsibilities:
Teaching: Delivering lectures, seminars, and practical sessions to undergraduate and postgraduate students in cardio-thoracic physiotherapy. This involves preparing lesson plans, creating course materials, and assessing students’ progress through assignments, exams, and presentations.
Curriculum Development: Contributing to the development and enhancement of the cardio-thoracic physiotherapy curriculum. This includes reviewing and updating existing courses, incorporating new research and industry trends, and ensuring the curriculum meets the educational standards and requirements.
Research: Engaging in research activities related to cardio-thoracic physiotherapy. This involves conducting independent research projects, collaborating with other researchers, publishing findings in academic journals, and presenting research at conferences.
Supervision and Mentorship: Providing guidance and support to students, including supervising research projects and dissertations. You may also serve as a mentor to students, assisting them in their academic and professional development.
Clinical Practice: Maintaining a clinical practice in cardio-thoracic physiotherapy to stay up-to-date with current practices and trends in the field. This may involve working part-time or on a consultancy basis in a healthcare setting.
Professional Development: Engaging in continuous professional development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills in cardio-thoracic physiotherapy. This may include attending workshops, conferences, and training programs, as well as staying updated with the latest research and advancements in the field.
Administrative Duties: Undertaking administrative responsibilities such as participating in faculty meetings, serving on committees, and contributing to departmental activities and initiatives.
Collaboration and Networking: Collaborating with colleagues within the department and across disciplines to promote interdisciplinary learning and research. Building networks with other educational institutions, healthcare professionals, and industry experts to foster partnerships and opportunities for collaboration.
Community Engagement: Engaging with the wider community by participating in public outreach programs, conducting educational workshops or seminars for healthcare professionals or the general public, and promoting awareness of cardio-thoracic physiotherapy and its benefits.
Professional Service: Contributing to the profession of cardio-thoracic physiotherapy through involvement in professional organizations, serving on boards or committees, and participating in peer review activities for journals or conferences.

Salary: ₹18,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per month
