Job Title: Admissions Counselor, UK
Location: Moti Nagar, Delhi 110 015
Working Hours: 9am – 6pm, full time. This is not a work-from-home role
Remuneration: INR 4,50,000 – INR 5,00,000 per annum
Start: Immediate
This is a full time role based in our Delhi office.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Admissions Counselor to join our team in Delhi, India. Operating within the international education sector, your role will involve processing student applications, identifying and implementing continuous improvements, and engaging with students and parents during the admissions process. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, the ability to work autonomously, a dedication to customer service, and an advanced command of the English language.

Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate calls to leads generated from marketing efforts.
- Convert leads into successful enrollments.
- Provide guidance to students regarding opportunities for overseas education, including country, course, university, and career choices.
- Advise students on application processes, visa applications, accommodation arrangements, and preparations for overseas studies.
- Ensure timely completion of admission, visa, accommodation, and travel formalities.
- Deliver accurate information about UK study programs, courses, colleges, and universities.
- Address inquiries from parents and students, offering precise and helpful information.
- Present comprehensive details about courses for Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees across various disciplines.
- Cultivate a positive experience for parents/students to encourage word-of-mouth referrals and client growth.
- Stay up-to-date on study in the UK programs offered by colleges/universities and apply this knowledge to assist students.
- Assist students from registration through departure to the host country.
- Maintain an organized database of counseled students and sent applications for overseas education.
- Evaluate client information and guide them appropriately based on course and university preferences.
- Participate in activities promoting universities represented by the company.
- Analyze the mindset of students interested in overseas education, motivating and guiding them to pursue the course.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and presentation skills while communicating confidently with students and parents.
- Professionally promote the company’s study abroad programs to students/parents.
- Timely reporting to the manager.
Person Specification (essential):
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- More than 3 years of work experience within admissions and counselling in the international education sector
- Good understanding of the UK education system
- Good understanding of the UK student visa regime
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Good relationship management and customer service skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Has a highly organised approach to work
- Acts with integrity at all times
- Adopts a ‘can-do’ approach offering innovative ways of responding to challenges
