We are looking for Lead – Operations (Online Education).

Job description

Lead Operations will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring effective execution of day-to-day operations by delivery team (e.g. teachers, content development team, student onboarding team etc.). The work includes setting operational plans and goals, implement Standard Operating Practices (SOPs), creating short- and medium-term plans, assigning roles and monitoring progress on regular basis, towards ensuring successful and QUALITY tuition delivery.

Key Result areas:

Process development & ensuing high adherence:

• Create / modify SOPs (Standard Operating Processes).
• Planning Control, Process monitoring,
• Streamlining and development of processes to ensure smooth operation
• Optimize cost across the day-to-day operational expenses
• Ensure service excellence through effective use of different training modules
• Process improvement,
• Drive efficiency and productivity initiatives.

Operational planning:

• Plan and execute development of content modules in timely manner.
• Regular planning of class schedule and execution of tuition classes through the team of teachers.
• Project management of all activities related to class materials preparation.
• Drive quality adherence and QA of class delivery, student satisfaction and content preparation.

Operational efficiency and effectiveness:

• Assignment review of workload.
• Constant monitoring Team performance, evaluation and feedback to the team member.
• Provide SME (Subject Matter expertise) and problem-solving support for day to day issues.

Student satisfaction & reporting to their parents:

• Ensure regular student feedback
• Ensure monthly report of student performance.

Resource utilisation and Cost efficiency:

• Ensure cost efficiency in all aspects of tuition operations.

Team management

• Ensure clear communication of the overall operational plan to all members.
• Drive ownership on all tasks expected to be performed by the team.
• Identify training gaps and plan trainings.
• Develop Competencies of the team
• Ensure implementation of the Development plans.

Management reporting

• Constant monitoring Team performance, evaluation and feedback to the Reporting Head.
• Produce weekly ops MIS and present team performance reviews to the management
• Escalating critical issues to management or related teams for immediate resolutions.

Qualification

1. Masters M.Sc. / MA / BE / B.Tech / Mass Communication

2. MBA with Operational specialization.

3. Minimum 3 years experience working in a Edutech or University or School or KPO environment.

4. Familiarity of Online education sector and practices by the Instructors and the Students.

5. Familiarity with Learning Management System (LMS), Administration Module, Operations Module, Dashboard and Metrics modules used by Instructors and Students.

6. High Proficiency in using MS Word, basic Excel and PowerPoint and handling emails.

7. You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
