Position: Academic Counsellor
Qualification: Graduation
Experience: Minimum 3 years
Location: Vennala, Kochi

Objective:

• The counsellor will be responsible to help students/employees define goals, plan action and gain insight
• The counsellor will be responsible for keeping an end to end tracking of progress or regress of the resident’s mental health status.

Job Description:

• Conduct assessments in Learning, Social emotional and behavioural domains and communicating assessments results to key people such as students, employees, Lecturers and relevant professionals
• Provide expert advice and direct intervention in the management of critical incidents.
• Assist in the design and evaluation of effective prevention intervention and support programs for individuals (students/employees)
• Provide counselling and intervention for a range of issues effecting students/employees.
• Provide professional learning for staff on a range of topics and conducting workshops for them.
• Generate reports to make formal recommendations on action to be taken, including formal statements;
• Understand and conduct research in related areas
