Position:

The ideal candidate for this position sits on the departmental level leading in all areas of the financial aspects of the department. In this role, the person will have to operate numerous central finance processes, as well as design further departmental financial processes to enable fast growth of the department.

  • Manage a team of finance administrators, who assist supplier registration, procurement & expense administration.
  • Assist with budgets planning and keeping track of the budget consumption, by preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual financial management reports
  • Participate in preparation of financial analysis including budget to actual variance analysis and forecasting (including cash)
  • Assist the Finance operations by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions into the accounting and student information systems when needed.
  • Design various financial processes, which facilitate faster transactional turn around, as well as help the central finance team implement central processes on the departmental level.
  • Prepares various financial analysis and other accouning details as assigned by the Finance Manager

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or a relevant discipline (MBA – Finance preferrable)
  • Strong communication skills (written, oral & email)
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS
  • Have excellent financial modelling skills (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.) and generally strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Power BI knowledge is preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of related experience in finance and accounting, preferably in high growth environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to oversee and manage the team’s Business Metrics and productivity
  • Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent presentation skills
  • Strong client relationship management and customer service skills
  • Should have worked on Payroll and Accounts Payable
  • Should be flexible to work in rotational shifts, as per business requirement
