Purpose of the Role:1. Oversee the development of all curriculam according to principle policies, continuously assess faculty’s teaching pedagogy, content and student learning, set appropriate goals of recruitment, retention and success of students enhancing the institution’s reputation2. Accountable for leading the staff and deploying resources to implement a sustainable institution3. Ensure high performance culture and development of team members

Responsibilities & Accountability:Ensure compliance with all laws, and government/University/AICTE policies

Responsible for establishing the annual plan for delivery of classes and events, ensuring sequential learning experiences for students consistent with the institute’s philosophy, mission statement and academic goals

Responsible for supervising the academic programs of the institute, evaluating delivery methodology, and observing classes (teaching, as duties allow), on a regular basis, to encourage the use of a variety of delivery strategies and materials, consistent with research on learning and student growth and development.Ensure necessary protocols/policies are followed to maintain the health, safety, and welfare of students, employees and visitors

Responsible for establishing procedures for safe storing and integrity of all public and confidential institute records

Ensure that student records are complete and updated

Responsible for maintaining a master schedule to be posted for all teaching staff

Responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective inventory system for all institute supplies, materials and equipment

Responsible for activities related to employment and certifications, as assigned by the Management and not otherwise prohibited by law or in conflict with employment

Oversee development of employees and conduct their performance appraisal’s, including recommending staff for promotion, providing performance feedback etc.Manage employee satisfaction by driving a culture of transparent communication, and addressing and resolving employee grievances
