GitHub Education has a portfolio of offerings for students, teachers and university administrators. Through seven years of operationalizing and scaling education has changed; students and teachers want more from GitHub. We have the right products and pieces but need someone to build the path for delivering content and curriculum to our campuses.
Our Programs team is looking for a the right person to drive the vision of the “GitHub Global Campus” – a mirror of the university, but on and with GitHub. This isn’t your ordinary campus or curriculum. GitHub Education goes beyond using our programs to build confidence by creating pull requests, encouraging conversation, and engaging students and teachers worldwide. In the role of Program Manager, you will run our Code Innovation Series and expand Teacher Professional Development into new regions.
Responsibilities
Scale and localize Teacher Professional Development into new regions
Build stronger reach and connection with teachers around the world.
Identify and develop case studies for the teachers and campuses who are a part of our programs.
Manage and expand the Code Innovation Series to teach GitHub to students and teachers
Proactively manage documentation – SOW, MOU, and PO signing for all relevant programs
Support the GitHub Externship Program by monitoring financial metrics (i.e. budget sheet and expenses) made across the program and operational metrics (e.g improving the end-user experience)
Communicating and collaborating with the stakeholders internally and externally to get work done timely and efficiently
Build dashboards and reports using Looker and PowerBI on the outcomes of our curriculum and content programs
Manager GitHub Teacher Professional Development; coordinating sessions, planning and tracking outcomes, develop a communication plan.
Requirements
2+ years of experience working on curriculum development and delivery
Familiar with GitHub and the struggles teachers face introducing the platform in their classrooms
Proficient in reporting and automation tools such as Salesforce, Airtable, and Looker.
Can execute a program launch with a clear rollout plan and mitigates outcomes effectively
Knowledge of current educational and social technology trends and platforms
Is results-oriented and has strong decision-making skill
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a passion for data-driven decision making.
