GITAM Deemed University Hiring For Senior Venture Coach at India Full Time

We are looking for Senior Venture Coaches for our Visakhapatnam campus.

Venture Development Centre (VDC) is the physical facility on each campus that provides the infrastructure and resources for experiential entrepreneurship education and pre-incubation of business ideas.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To coach students and venture teams to generate a value proposition idea of an enterprise through a structured process of Learning Management System (LMS) (including timely completion of assignments through NU-IDEA) and delivery of the flagship VDC programme Ready Set Go.
• To motivate and guide student teams with their modules and track progress.
• To build a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem on campus, by forming student clubs and organizing student club activities through E-clubs
• To assist the Deputy Director in tasks and activities organized by VDC.
• Promote VDC and entrepreneurship through publications, presentations, and lectures at national and international conferences.
• Create content for entrepreneurial education at VDC.

Skills Required:

• A Postgraduate from Sciences, Engineering, Management, or Humanities from a top tier institution in India/abroad with consistently good academic record with 5+ years of work experience preferably in entrepreneurship ecosystem, investment, or consulting fields
• The desired candidate shall be dynamic outgoing individual with leadership and motivational skills.
• Having exposure in coaching and/or mentoring startups is an asset.
• Direct exposure to entrepreneurship (working, in a startup or a small business) is a big plus
• Advanced skills in MS Office with Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to converse in the local language will be an advantage, but not required
• Exposure to, and success in, extracurricular activities, such as, sports, debating, essay writing, group discussions, and events management will be valued.
