Role & responsibilities

• Mobilizing and securing significant research funding from government bodies, industries, and other relevant sources.
• Developing and maintaining strong collaborations with research institutions, industry partners, and funding agencies.
• Promoting research activities leading to publications, patents, and innovation.
• Managing the research portfolio of the university, including overseeing ongoing projects, mentoring faculty in securing funding, and ensuring compliance with grant regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Science, Engineering, Technology.
• Proven track record of successfully securing research funding from national and international sources.
• Strong network with funding agencies, research bodies, and industry partners.
• Experience in guiding and mentoring faculty and research teams in grant proposal writing and securing funding.
