Required Maths Teacher with exp. of curriculum designing (nursery to 8th class) for Noida based reputed school.

Description:

The ‘Curriculum Lead (Maths)’ is an instruction specialist and a member of the Curriculum Team. The candidate is entrusted with the task of developing new curricula and/or improving the existing curricula for Classes Nursery-Class VIII for Maths.

The candidate will assess the Math Education Programme, ensure that it meets the national / CBSE guidelines from time to time and constantly look for ways to enhance them.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide teacher training based on observation of teachers during classroom delivery.

2. Provide guidance, training and direction in his / her subject to all such schools as directed by the Management.

3. Develop curricula for Classes Nursery to Class VIII, supervise class content, implement curriculum changes, interpret regulations and plan or advise on technological materials and textbooks.

4. Involve himself / herself in regular research and make recommendations to the Head of Curriculum and Learning.

5. Support Professional Development of staff members.

6. Work with teachers and administrators to evaluate existing curricula and assess the quality of instruction.

7. Enhance and raise the standard of education in school(s), improve pedagogy and practice in his / her area of specialisation.

8. Ensure opportunities are provided for the staff to receive help in understanding the process of curriculum delivery for the particular subject and ensure that teachers are up-to-date with developments in the subject area.

9. Be familiar with current guidelines, policies, and regulations pertaining to education.

10. Monitor the effectiveness of and oversee the work of teachers of the curriculum area / grade along with the Subject Lead.

11. Teach classes (as assigned by the Management) to have a finger on the pulse and to stay familiar with recent changes and improvements.
