Roles/Responsibilities

Job Description

This job is ideal for those who are passionate about learning, meeting new people and will suite

significant reading, self studying and online research to ensure most accurate and updated

information is provided to students. There are significant opportunities for international travel and

vertical growth within the company

The Student Advisors role and responsibilities will include and is not restricted to the following.

Generate footfalls, applicants and university deposit payments through telemarketing/

counselling/ participating in events / visiting schools and colleges in the region

Identify, recruit and enrol prospective students in designated courses

Interact and advise potential candidates about international study opportunities, application

process, visa procedures and work opportunities.

Should ensure a high rate of conversion from lead generation into applicant and university

deposit payment and visa processing

Establish relations with colleges in and around the city to source database and have an

opportunities to interact with students in the colleges.

Deliver a session on International Study and Work opportunities to relevant audiences.

If market requires: Train, develop and maintain a team of junior counsellors/ tele-callers to

ensure that our clients are given current and accurate information on international study

opportunities

Ensure that required follow-up activities are carried on in time with customers and

international clients to ensure business development.

Work closely with the operations team to ensure application are processing in a timely and

accurate manner

Assist with promoting partner institutions. This will include and is not restricted to

generating leads from Indian colleges, schools, telemarketing, follow ups and counselling

session.

Should ensure that the management is aware of market feedback and trends in the student

community.

Ensure that student records are maintained in an effective manner and necessary follow ups

are undertaken to ensure that the student receives his/her offers in time.

Must constantly upgrade him/her on destinations, universities and their courses.

Must be aware of the visa process/ required information to effectively complete the

assigned tasks.

Undertake outstation counselling sessions when necessary

Ensure that all required reports are submitted in time and accurately.

Effective use of the internal Software

Undertake necessary application processing and follow-ups to ensure that clients get their

offers in time.

Qualifications And Experience Required

Graduation or Post Graduation in any field.

At least 2 years of experience in counseling will be beneficial but not essential.
