Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching: Teach courses on supply chain management, logistics and operations management
  2. Develop course materials such as syllabi, lectures and assignments
  3. Conduct research in the supply chain field and publish findings in journals and case studies
  • Advising: Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters. Supervise graduate students research projects and theses.
  • Service: Participate in departmental, college, and university service activities, including committee work, curriculum development, and outreach programs. Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives within the department.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in the field of Supply Chain Management through ongoing research, professional development, and engagement with industry practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Ph.D or Master degree in B in supply chain management, logistics or a related field.
  • Experience: Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching and research. Previous experience in a faculty role or a strong record of relevant industry experience is desirable.
  • Research Skills: Proven ability to conduct high-quality research, as evidenced by publications in top-tier journals and successful grant applications.
  • Teaching Ability: Strong teaching skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner. Experience developing and teaching online or hybrid courses is a plus.
  • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and industry partners.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic environment.
