We are an early-stage startup with a small team, so you’ll be building things from the ground up. This is a paid full-time and in-office position; apply only if you can work for at least 6 months. As we are an edtech startup you might also have to be involved in the course building, supporting & taking the classes.

This is based in Bengaluru (Bangalore), India. If you are selected, you’ll have to work from one of our offices on MG Road or Indiranagar. You can also apply if you are restarting your career.

Who are we looking for: Master Trainer / Training Specialist

General Purpose:

The Master Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering professional development training programs and courses for educators. They will work closely with our educators, administrators, and education leaders to assess training needs and create customized training programs to support teachers in their professional development.

Key Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Training potential instructors or subject matter experts to enable them to train our students.
• Design, develop, and deliver professional development training programs and courses for teachers
• Assess teachers’ training needs and create customized training programs to support teachers in their professional development
• Collaborate with our administrators, education leaders, and other stakeholders to understand the needs of the teaching system and align training programs accordingly
• Facilitate workshops, seminars, and other training sessions for teachers
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to teachers as they implement new skills and strategies in the classroom
• Stay current with new teaching methods, trends and technologies in education
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed
• Prepare and submit reports on the progress and impact of training programs

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, L&D, Psychology, Marketing or a related field
• MBA or any relevant master’s degree is a plus
• 1+ years of experience in support or a related field
• Fresher or 1-2 years of experience is acceptable from a top college

Required Skills/Experience/Characteristics:

• Ability to effectively convey complex ideas in an easy-to-understand manner

• Knowledge of MS Office / Google Drive (Docs), Internet Browsing, Social Networks, Web-based tools, etc…
• Strong research and brainstorming skills are required to produce highly creative and unique content
• Must have a natural flair for writing & be able to deliver content that perfectly works for the Web
• Write exceptional content, original, grammatical-error-free, technically/conceptually authentic
• A strong presence on social media and Experience with social media properties
• Base-level understanding of search engine optimization and keyword usage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

Interview process

We don’t have a complicated multi-level process like corporates. But we do have 2-3 rounds to filter good talent. 1-2 rounds of online interviews, and one round of In-person interviews. Also, there will be a small writing exercise/assignment component as part of the interview process.
