Qualification – Master’s Degree with relevant experience or minimum-Bachelor’s degree and training in related area
Min. Experience – 3+ years in career counselling and post-secondary placement
Work Profile-
Develop and implement a comprehensive career education programme from grades 6-12 which include career days, workshops etc…
Develop individual student profiles and advice around career choices and post-secondary placements.
Conduct workshops for students related to post-secondary applications, resume writing, portfolio development, interview skills, SAT, Ilets preparation, references, and entrance essays.
Host and source a variety of university fairs and communicate opportunities to students and parents.
Arrange for visits to university and college campuses.
Be familiar with scholarship opportunities nationally and internationally and support students in applying for scholarships.
Track students to ensure they are meeting all application deadlines and requirements
Coordinate and develop a full internship programme for students grade 9-12
Provide individual post-secondary placement counselling for students starting as early as grade 10 but certainly focused on grades 11 and 12
