We are looking for an experienced English teacher to join our team.
If you love English, have a good command over the English language and have the ability to teach the language with patience and tact, we are looking for you.
Curriculum to follow: ICSE.

Your main goal will be to teach the language in order to enable your students to read, write and speak the language fluently. You will have to create a learning environment that will help your students meet their learning goals. Through interesting and diverse methods, you’ll teach them the important rules of reading, writing, and speaking in English and focus on the English grammar as well. You will oversee their progress by tracking their assignment and exam grades and provide useful feedback.
We are looking for full-time teachers to teach 3 or 4 grades of 40 students each.
Responsibilities
Prepare lesson plans and implement the same in class.
Organise classroom lectures and coursework.
Prepare materials and activities.
Assign necessary homework and interesting exercises.
Identify and help students who need additional help.
Determine exam and assignment grades.
Keep a record of students’ attendance, grades and interactiveness.
Monitor and assess children’s progress on a regular basis.
Research new language teaching methods.
Manage classroom crises and resolve conflict.
Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to foster a good student experience
Inspire and make learning fun by telling stories, playing games and coming up new concepts, depending on the grade.
Requirements
Knowledge of various teaching methods
Deep understanding of the national curriculum and English language requirements
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
A patient and resilient personality
BSc/BA in English Language or English Literature; MA English is a plus.
B. Ed is a must.
Good command over the English language.
Must have a lot of love and passion towards teaching and children.
Candidates can be entry level or senior level candidates, but we are looking for candidates with exceptionally good fluency in the language.
Other Roles:
The teacher should be willing to organise events that exhibit the talents of the students, ensuring their stage fear is eliminated and boost confidence by conducting competitions.
Plan and organise the school’s intra-school art and literary competitions.
Be willing to participate in workshops and other programs offered by the school.
Take on additional roles as and when required.
Be enthusiastic about teaching and being a teacher!

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed on zoom or on campus and will be asked to take a demo class on-campus on a scheduled date given by the school unless discussed otherwise at the interview.
