Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Manager to join our team at Ganges Internationale Pvt Ltd, Pondicherry. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and possess a strong engineering background. The Training Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Development: Design and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of the manufacturing industry, focusing on enhancing technical skills, safety protocols, and process improvements.
  • Implementation and Delivery: Oversee the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring that content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct training needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and consultations with managers and employees to identify areas requiring skill development.
  • Curriculum Design: Create and update training materials, manuals, and other resources, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Evaluation and Feedback: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of trainers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of training programs.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all training programs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, with a particular emphasis on safety training.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and HR to align training initiatives with overall business strategies and objectives.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering with a specialization in a training-related course.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a proven track record in managing and delivering training programs.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to design and implement effective training programs that meet organizational needs.
  • Proficiency in training software, tools, and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in training and development, such as CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development) or equivalent.
  • Experience in change management and process improvement.

Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
