Role & responsibilities
Job Description
1. Training Program Design and Strategy:
Develop a holistic learning and development strategy aligned with the company’s objectives and values. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and gaps, ensuring the programs address both current and future needs.
2. Content Development and Delivery:
Create engaging and effective learning materials, including training modules, e-learning courses, workshops, and multimedia content. Deliver training sessions through various methods, such as in-person workshops, virtual sessions, and webinars.
3. Onboarding and Orientation:
Develop and execute comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires, providing them with the knowledge and tools needed for a successful start.
4. Skill Enhancement Programs:
Identify skill development opportunities for employees at all levels (pharmacists, beauty advisors, wellness executives, assistants, delivery staff etc), ranging from frontline staff to managerial positions. Design and implement skill enhancement programs to improve specific
competencies and capabilities.
5. Leadership Development:
Work closely with leadership to identify potential future leaders within the organization. Design leadership development programs to nurture and cultivate the skills needed for effective management and leadership.
6. Performance Management:
Collaborate with HR to integrate training and development initiatives into the performance management process. Align training with performance goals and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to employees.
7. Learning Technology:
Leverage technology to enhance training delivery and effectiveness, including learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
8. Evaluation and Feedback:
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and performance metrics. Gather feedback from participants to continuously improve the quality of training offerings.
9. Compliance and Regulatory Training:
Ensure that all employees are trained and compliant with industry- specific regulations and standards.
Preferred candidate profile :
1. experience in designing and delivering training programs, ideally within the wellness retail, pharmaceutical, beauty, or healthcare sectors.
2. Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and modern training techniques.
3. Leadership and team collaboration skills to work effectively across departments and levels.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, ideally within the wellness retail, pharmaceutical, beauty, or healthcare sectors.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and modern training techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance training within the relevant industries.
- Leadership and team collaboration skills to work effectively across departments and levels.
