Job description *

We are looking for a Placement Manager to join our organization.

Location: Mumbai (Vikhroli)

Job Type: Full-Time Role

Primary Responsibilities of a Placement Manager:

The individual will perform the following operations:

• Overall responsibility of achieving placement targets for the centres under them
• Develop & monitor the SOP to periodically check suitability of candidates undergoing training
• Counselling of candidates on job opportunities and career building
• Identify opportunities national and local as per his centre’s requirement
• Identify local opportunities for on the job training and ensure candidates joining and completing OJT (on-the-job training)
• Organize interviews / Campus Drive / Job Fairs at the Centres / Districts for candidate placements
• Ensure joining of candidates after selection
• Collection and regular submission of mandatory documents pertaining to candidate retention in job as per the scheme
• Ensure periodic / timely update of placement portals
• Tracking candidates on monthly basis for period of 6 months
• Constant research on job trends to gather specific information about employers requirements
• Regularly attend meetings with employers and built relationship on the basis of feedback
• Maintain close liaison with relevant industry / government bodies

The individual must also display the following characteristics / skills / competencies:

• Passionate to help students succeed professionally
• Possesses strong networking skills to coordinate with potential employers
• Knowledge of Govt. skill development projects specially DDU-GKY/PMKVY/PMKK etc.
• Should have good Communication skills & Motivational skills.

Please Note:

• Candidates must be based out of the job location mentioned above, or be willing to relocate to the job location at their own expense, and must be willing to undertake necessary local travel as may be necessitated
• Preference would be given to candidates who are from the location for which they are being hired, or are willing to relocate to the location
• Only candidates who fit our requirements will be interviewed by the hiring team
• Candidates must be willing to join within 7-30 days of receipt of the offer letter
