Proficient in Zoho Books or willing to learn outside of business hours.
- Up date Book keeping and Preparing accounts in Zoho Books as per GAAP standards
- Documentation and management of records for the bookkeeping both in the accounting software
- Preparing and filing HST returns
- Bank Reconciliations
- Preparing monthly and other periodical reports
- Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations and internal policies
- Processing Vendor Invoices, Vendor registration
- Processing Customer Invoices etc.
- Processing salaries and other costs to the company on time
- and other necessary Accounting activities as they might arise.
- Hours are Monday to Friday 9pm EST to 5pm EST Saturday 9pm Est to 1pm EST (Toronto, Canada Time)
- Candidates with proficiency in English, Hindi and Punjabi will be preferred
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Experience in Zoho Books
- Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of spreadsheets, as well as other Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
- Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
- Highly detail-oriented
- Up to date Computer with a second monitor
- High Speed Internet
- Great Typing skills
