Faculty – Nutrition and Dietetics/Applied Nutrition Hiring for Job at Kolkata Full Time

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our team as a Faculty member in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics/Applied Nutrition. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching courses in both undergraduate and graduate programs, conducting research, and contributing to the academic community through service activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and teach courses in Nutrition and Dietetics/Applied Nutrition for undergraduate and graduate students
• Develop and implement innovative and effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning
• Conduct research in the areas of Nutrition and Dietetics/Applied Nutrition, and seek external funding to support research activities
• Publish research findings in reputable scientific journals and present at national and international conferences
• Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research projects and career development
• Participate in departmental and university service activities, such as serving on committees, participating in outreach events, and engaging with industry partners
• Stay up-to-date with current developments in the field and incorporate new knowledge into teaching and research activities

Desired Candidate Profile

• A PhD in Nutrition and Dietetics, Applied Nutrition, or a related field
• A strong record of teaching and research accomplishments-5 to 8 yrs Experience
• Demonstrated ability to develop and teach courses in Nutrition and Dietetics/Applied Nutrition
• Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research in the field, as evidenced by a record of publications and external funding
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student success and a collaborative work environment

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or equivalent certification
• Experience in community-based nutrition programs and/or public health nutrition

Experience working with diverse populations and/or underserved communities
