Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our team as a Faculty member in the field of Hospital Administration. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching courses in both undergraduate and graduate programs, conducting research, and contributing to the academic community through service activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and teach courses in Hospital Administration for undergraduate and graduate students
  • Develop and implement innovative and effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning
  • Conduct research in the areas of Hospital Administration, and seek external funding to support research activities
  • Publish research findings in reputable scientific journals and present at national and international conferences
  • Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research projects and career development
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities, such as serving on committees, participating in outreach events, and engaging with industry partners
  • Stay up-to-date with current developments in the field and incorporate new knowledge into teaching and research activities

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A PhD in Hospital Administration, Health Administration, or a related field
  • A strong record of teaching and research accomplishments- 5 to 8 yrs Experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and teach courses in Hospital Administration
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research in the field, as evidenced by a record of publications and external funding
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to student success and a collaborative work environment

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in hospital administration or related field
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and policies
  • Knowledge of healthcare management systems and processes
  • Experience working with diverse populations and/or underserved communities
