EY- GDS – TAX – PAS – Workforce Advisory (WFA), HR Transactions – Assistant Manager

The opportunity
We are looking for Assistant Manager with expertise in HR Transaction to join the WFA team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading global professional services organisation whilst being instrumental in growth of the WFA team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support across project teams to work on multiple, interrelated & complex Transactions projects, mainly focusing on post day 1 integration.
Develop deal strategy and manage the client project plan to achieve successful deal milestones
Work on global client projects as part of a globally distributed team
Take ownership of clients’ issues through to resolution – including troubleshooting, external and internal communication and providing meaningful feedback to the clients on a regular basis
Support development of thought leadership, collateral, tools, techniques, methodologies to enhance transactions and broader capability offering within the practice.
Create knowledge base materials dedicated towards operational efficiency
Perform role of counsellor and coach, define and set goals, conduct performance reviews and ensure continuous learning and development of the team
Implement strong people practices and policies; provide counselling support to individuals in the team for their learning and development, performance management and career growth

To qualify for the role, you must have
10 -11 years of relevant experience preferably in HR transaction project
Minimum 4 – 6 years of experience in being part of a transaction effort, or transformation project and providing consulting services to global clients
Master’s degree in HR or finance
Experience of working in a consulting environment on global client projects
Excellent communication skills, and the ability to advise, challenge and influence clients
Demonstrated leadership capabilities of collaboration across boundaries and working in highly matrixed, ambiguous and challenging situations
Experience in managing a team of 2-4 individuals; providing advice and guidance on client projects in subject matter areas
Ideally, you’ll also have
Understanding and experience of the full life cycle Human resources function
Experience in supporting successful completion of major programs and projects of integration processes throughout the M&A life cycle.
Experience in supporting integration and planning according to timelines, budget and quality standards.
Ability to work cross-functionally with all project stakeholders to ensure project dependencies are identified and communicated.
Ability to understand diligence reports. Proactively ensures program and project planning gaps or other risks are effectively identified. Work on recommending issue resolution as appropriate, monitors and supports teams to ensure a smooth and seamless transition post M&A.
Solid financial and business acumen to align the program strategically and financially to department and company goals.
Ability to create harmonized strong, intelligent policies and processes.
Experience in analyzing Organizational impacts of the integration and consider the same in management of integration implementation plans and data migration into company systems.
