Job Summary:
EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) consists of various service delivery centers from which Client Service and Enablement Services teams operate to deliver strategic support to EY member firms. GDS spans all geographies, practices, services lines, sectors and competencies within EY to deliver integrated services that result in efficient and world-class solutions. The position in discussion is with the Deal Management CoE in EY GDS MBA function. The Deal Management CoE serves as an extension to the onshore Pursuit teams who are involved in the direct Bid Management Processes. The Deal Management CoE supports the onshore teams on a number of opportunities, adding more value during the pursuit process or the bid management cycle.

The Global Pursuit Resource Center (PRC) is a new cross-Service Line initiative to provide practitioners easy access to a curated library of recent pursuit materials, leading practice tools and guidance, and helpdesk support. Critical to the success of this global pursuit self-help model, the Global PRC Helpdesk Supervisor oversees the PRC coordinators who (1) collect and curate recent content, (2) proactively manage the portal to provide a great user experience and (3) provide navigation support and advice on leading practice. The Global PRC Helpdesk Supervisor also oversees the day-to-day execution of key Global PRC content and support processes, and provides assistance with more complex service requests.

Job Specifications:
Lead efforts to obtain final pursuit materials from the pursuit teams the Global PRC supports

Execute monthly and targeted collection processes

Participate in weekly efforts to identify and collect pursuit materials from priority, high value, innovative wins/losses

Review collected content to determine if eligible for Global PRC Public Library

Oversee the day-to-day execution of the content preparation process

Perform spot check reviews of published documents

Manage decision trees for handling queries and collate common queries and responses

Oversee the quality review process, provide direction and coordinate support services of the Global PRC Helpdesk team

Exhibit innovative thinking and flexible approach while managing out-of-scope requests

Effectively handle routine tasks including follow-up and respond appropriately to unexpected situations, communicating the concerns to Global PRC Helpdesk Manager as and when required.

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
Champion Markets Activation Team (MAT) best-practice pursuit management tools and processes

Solution-oriented, strong analytical skills and ability to make sound decisions quickly, given tight timeframes and fast-paced environment

Demonstrate versatility in a constantly evolving environment with a wide variety of social styles

Supervision Responsibilities:
Work with considerable autonomy while often managing the work of others

Provide coaching and mentoring to others; may serve as a Counsellor to PRC Helpdesk Coordinators

Support the onboarding and training of new hires in the Global PRC Helpdesk team

Oversee the work of the Global PRC Helpdesk Coordinators

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Essential

Good understanding of Business Development and Pursuit Management

Excellent communications skills (verbal, written and listening) and attention to detail

Ability to analyze data, derive conclusions and make decisions

Excellent critical and strategic thinking

Excellent project management, coordination and negotiation skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Demonstrate excellent customer service skills including telephone, MS Teams and e-mail support

Other Requirements:
From time to time, internal and external obligations may require working after normal business hours.

Job Requirements:
Education:
MBA (International Business/ Marketing)

Experience:
6-9 years in Business Development of which minimum 3 years should be in Bid Management/Pre-Sales/Pursuit Management in professional services organizations

Experience in developing external marketing communications

Experience working in a cross-border, multi-cultural environment
