• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the CBSE English curriculum.
• Prepare engaging and interactive teaching materials, including visual aids, handouts, and other resources.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes active learning.
• Assess student learning through quizzes, tests, assignments, and other forms of evaluation.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress and personal growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to update them on their child’s progress and address any concerns.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in English language teaching and pedagogy.
• Serve as a mentor and role model for students, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and respect for diversity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Teacher certification or licensure as required by the state or country.
• Previous experience teaching English language and literature at the secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning.
