Duties:

– Provide instruction and guidance to students in various subjects, including but not limited to math, science, language arts, and social studies.
– Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the individual needs of students.
– Utilize effective teaching strategies and techniques to engage students and promote a positive learning environment.
– Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians.
– Use behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors and promote a respectful and inclusive classroom environment.
– Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special needs.
– Conduct scientific research in collaboration with colleagues or independently to contribute to the field of education.
– Provide mentoring and support to new teachers or teacher candidates as needed.
– Contribute to education administration by participating in meetings, committees, or other administrative tasks as required.
– Design instructional materials and resources that enhance student learning and engagement.
– Conduct research in a laboratory setting to investigate educational theories or practices.
– Provide library services such as assisting students with research projects or recommending appropriate reading materials.
– Offer academic advising to students on course selection, career paths, or other educational matters.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
– Valid teaching certification/license.
– Experience working with diverse student populations, including students with special needs.
– Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and strategies.
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
– Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
– Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes.
– Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
– Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing educational needs and priorities.
