The primary task of a teacher is to prepare and deliver lessons to the students from classes 9 to 10+2. They evaluate the strength, weaknesses and abilities of their students and mold their teaching methodologies accordingly. Communicating with parents about students’ progress is one of the primary duties of high school teachers. They also teach students about the classroom and school policies regarding attendance and behavior.

Skills-

• Creativity: To get students excited about certain subjects, teachers need to use their creativity and imagination when creating lesson plans.
• Guidance: Many students need support and guidance from their teachers throughout their education. Many teachers serve as a mentor role for students and offer advice that can improve students’ time at school.
• Leadership: Teachers need to be good role models for students and be strong leaders. Students are more likely to respect a teacher who can confidently lead a classroom.
• Organization: Students can learn better when their teacher maintains an organized classroom where supplies and resources are easy to find. A teacher also needs to keep students’ assignments and tests organized to ensure students are receiving feedback and credit.
• Patience: Whether students have many questions or are having trouble behaving properly in class, a teacher needs to remain patient. Everyone learns at a different pace and a good teacher takes the time to ensure everyone is where they need to be.
• Public speaking: Teachers talk in front of students and other staff members all day, so they need to be skilled at public speaking. This means presenting information eloquently and confidently
