Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an English | Social Science Teacher located at our campus in Panchgani – Maharashtra. The role involves teaching English and Social Science to middle school students, developing engaging and comprehensive lesson plans, and fostering a learning environment that encourages intellectual growth and curiosity. Collaboration with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and supporting students in their academic journey will also be key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Graduate / Postgraduate and B.Ed. / M.Ed.
- Experience teaching middle school students, with a focus on English and Social Studies.
- Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to various learning needs.
- Strong communication skills to connect effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience with integrating cultural and global perspectives into curriculum as a plus.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Social Science, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Passion for holistic student development and fostering a supportive classroom environment.
- Experience in a residential education setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
