ESL Teacher
We are looking for dynamic individuals to join our operations team, to conduct ESL classes for
our NGO children.
About Hi5 Youth Foundation – Hi 5 Youth Foundation is a high-spirited, professionally run
sports-NGO, dedicated to coaching basketball to large numbers of young underprivileged
children. At Hi5, we believe that sports is not the medium but the platform for these children to
develop improved life-skills, to better their performance, and build strong aspirations to do well
in their future.
In the coming years, we plan to take our Basketball Training program ‘HopeThru Hoops’ & our
education support program ‘Pathways to Success’ to more cities and impact more children.

Responsibilities and Duties
● Plan, organize, and provide instruction in English that ensures children develop well in
spoken as well as written language
● Develop and deliver lesson plans/ curriculum for students and coaches that utilise a
broad range of appropriate teaching techniques and strategies.
● Assessing, recording and reporting the attendance, development and progress of the
children and coaches.
● Ensuring safe custody and maximum utilization of books, stationery, games and other
teaching aids to make curriculum delivery creative and impactful.
● Scheduling PTM at a set interval of time and submitting progress reports to each parent
and organization.
● Organizing supplies and resources for lectures and presentations.
● Exercise open and respectful communication with parents, co-workers, supervisors, and
other school staff.
Qualifications & Skills
● BA/Graduate in English Language or English Literature; Master’s Degree is a plus
● Knows regional language i.e. Marathi is a plus
● Previous experience as an English teacher
● Deep understanding of the English curriculum and language requirements
● Able to use software platforms such as zoom, google meet, Basic Excel etc (in case of any
online arrangement of session)
● Since the job location is mostly Vajreshwari, applicants from Vasai, Virar, or Nalasopara are preferred.
Salary is competitive based on experience and qualification.
