The English language Head of the Department (HOD) for the Primary classes would be responsible for guiding the teachers toward excellence in the subject. She should imbibe and contribute to the current best practices of the department and be responsible for guiding the primary school teachers in their teaching-learning practices. The HOD would be a mentor and guide to the teachers. She should be able to inspire the teachers towards excellence in the subject taught.

In addition, the HOD would also take on a teaching role in the department. The teacher should possess experience having taught Senior Secondary students of CBSE Board. The teacher should demonstrate superior knowledge of English language and have the ability to plan her classes for effective teaching-learning. The HOD would follow the liberal philosophy espoused by the school. She would also be responsible for any other tasks given periodically.
