About Blackboard Radio (BBR)

Blackboard Radio (BBR) is an award-winning social ed-tech enterprise founded by IIT Delhi alumni and supported by Villgro Innovation Foundation and CIIE, IIM Ahmedabad. At Blackboard Radio (BBR), we are creating an AI-powered spoken English tutor for learners.

Roles and responsibilities-

1. Conduction of Demo/Foundation Sessions:

• Teaching and counseling students and professionals between the age of 20 years to 50 years.
• Mentoring the learner to improve their English Communication Skills.
• Taking interactive and creative online Demo/Foundation classes and sharing the feedback with the learner as well as with the team.
• Assess the learner’s strengths and weaknesses, understand their requirements, and suggest the best program suitable for them.

1. Mentor Training

• Ensure that other mentors can conduct quality Demo/Foundation Sessions and can achieve the minimum required conversion levels.
• Observe Demo/Foundation Sessions, conduct quality checks and give timely feedback to the mentors to help them conduct quality sessions.
• Groom and train other mentors so that they can conduct interactive and creative sessions.
• Conduct weekly/daily meetings with mentors and resolve their queries.
• Facilitate training sessions of the newly joined mentors.

Eligibility Criteria-

➢ Graduate/Post graduate in English Language, Humanities or Business Administration, Mass communication

➢ Have prior experience in Communication training/Counseling experience.

➢ Have at least 1 year of experience in training the mentors/teachers or have worked as a quality analyst for the education sector.

➢ Have excellent English communication skills.

➢Should have excellent counseling and mentoring skills.

➢ Softskill, personality development, IELTS training experience would be an added advantage.

➢ Having awareness of demo/trial session structural understanding and exposure in conducting demo sessions.

➢ Should have technical awareness e.g. powerpoint, zoom/google meet features, MS word wtc.

➢Should be able to speak in Hindi as well.

Must haves-

➢ Should have a Laptop with HD Video Camera and Stable Wi-Fi Connection.

➢Availability during the weekends.

➢ 8-9 hours of availability in the 9am-10pm time frame.

Remuneration – Upto Rs.35,000 and above (subject to performance and experience)

Location- Remote (Work From Home)

Working- 6 Days a week
Joining- Immediate
