Role Description:

This is a Full-time, on-site role located in New Delhi for a Learning and Design Manager (L&D). The Learning and Design Manager (L&D) will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of various digital learning solutions aimed at enhancing the health and humanitarian sector’s institutional capacity. They will oversee the instructional design process for new instructional content and multimedia e-learning products, as well as manage LMS user administration, usage analytics and reporting, and cross-functional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·      Sound knowledge of instructional design process, Curriculum Design learning needs analysis.

·      Significant exp. with ILT/WBT development is highly preferred for the position.

·      Work with subject matter experts to identify the target audience’s learning needs. Handle SME coordination

independently.

·      Good instructional design methodology, including adult learning theory, interactive activities, and competency-based evaluations to produce high-quality, interactive learning solutions.

·      Collaborate with different stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand the program scope.

·      Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) and develop the training curriculum.

·      Develop high-level and detailed content outlines as per the curriculum.

·      Work with the team and SMEs to develop end-user learning materials.

·      Materials will include storyboards and course videos, eLearning presentations, hands-on projects, trainer instruction documents, and audio scripts.

·      Develop content and storyboard for ILT and WBT/eLearning courses based on the design documents

·      Incorporate multimedia assets that include or is a combination of audio, video, graphics, text functionalities and interactivities

·      Collaborating with leads and team members to suggest innovative ideas to enhance processes.

·      Storyboarding Sound knowledge skills on visual textual storyboarding. Translating the raw video footage into an accessible and engaging series of videos.

·      Visualization using visual medium to convey ideas and enhance learning – creating visual representations of concepts, ensuring visual consistency and harmony in the videos.

·      Preferred knowledge skills on Articulate Storyline 360.

·      Knowledge of web and mobility applications with industry standards for design, development and deployment.

·      Video reviews checking the quality of videos received from the video editors.

·      Develop appropriate learning activities based on training designs and learning objectives

·      Develop Storyboards and visualize concepts.

·      Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design

·      Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, etc)

·      Create high-level and low-level designs for L1-L3 projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, computer science, or related field
• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant work experience as an instructional designer, educational technology specialist, e-learning consultant, or related roles, with experience in leading the development and deployment of digital learning solutions
• Deep knowledge and understanding of current and emerging digital learning technologies and platforms, such as LMS, Rapid Authoring Tools, Learning Record Stores and Video Conferencing Tools
• Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team of content developers, instructional designers, project managers and QA team members
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Advanced proficiency with instructional design models, adult learning theory, and multimedia development tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate, and Captivate
• Experience in developing and delivering learning solutions in the healthcare industry is preferred
