Are you passionate about guiding and supporting students in their academic journey? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Overseas Academic Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive guidance to students who are planning to pursue higher education abroad.

Responsibilities:

Provide personalized counseling sessions to students and their parents/guardians regarding overseas education options, including university selection, course selection, and application processes

Stay up-to-date with the latest information on international universities, admission requirements, scholarships, and visa regulations

Assess students’ academic background, interests, and career goals to provide tailored guidance on suitable study abroad programs

Assist students in preparing application documents such as resumes, personal statements, recommendation letters, and transcripts

Coordinate with educational institutions overseas to ensure seamless application processes for students

Organize workshops and seminars to educate students about study abroad opportunities and provide them with valuable insights

Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress throughout their application process

Support students in visa applications and provide guidance on travel arrangements as needed

Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve counseling services and stay updated with industry trends

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

Prior experience as an academic counselor or related role in the education industry

Demonstrated knowledge of international education systems, universities, admission processes, and visa regulations

Familiarity with different study destinations preferred (e.g., USA, UK, Canada, Australia)

Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with diverse individuals from different cultural backgrounds

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Proficient in using educational counseling tools and software

Passion for helping students achieve their academic goals and a genuine interest in international education
