Job Description:

Role: Economics Subject Matter Expert

Date of Joining: Immediate

Target Grades: Grade 9-12

Role and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate and/or graduate students on topics such as econometrics, price theory, and macroeconomics.
• Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
• Evaluate and grade students’ class work, assignments, and papers.
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students.
• Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
• Advise students on academic and vocational curricula, and on career issues.
• Compile bibliographies of specialized materials for outside reading assignments.
• Participate in campus and community events.
• Act as advisers to student organizations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters in relevant subjects.
• Minimum 0-1 year online and offline Teaching experience.
• Motivated to teach and passionate about the subject.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Professional working experience with POWERPOINT presentations and online teaching.
• Experience in teaching CBSE/Cambridge/IB curriculums is preferred.
• Experience in teaching Commerce subjects (Accountancy, Economics or Business Studies).

Salary:

• Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month.
• Salary is not a constraint for deserving candidates.
