Role Description

This full-time on-site role for an International Student Counselor is located in Chennai. As an International Student Counselor, you will be responsible for assisting students with the study abroad application process from program selection and admissions to loan and visa applications. You will prioritize building strong relationships with students to provide personalized student counseling and advocacy on behalf of the students.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Demonstrated expertise in counseling and guidance services
• Familiarity with international educational systems and processes
• Experience in admissions or student services is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Counseling or related field
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups including international students and colleagues
• Experience working in a multicultural environment, working or studying overseas
