Job description
A STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Instructor is responsible for delivering engaging and educational instruction in STEM-related subjects to students of various ages and educational backgrounds. The role involves designing and implementing lesson plans, conducting hands-on experiments and activities, and fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment to promote students’ interest and proficiency in STEM fields.
1. Develop and update STEM curriculum materials, lesson plans, and learning resources to align with educational standards and goals
2. Deliver engaging and interactive STEM lessons to students of various age groups and skill levels, making complex concepts accessible and exciting
3. Organize and supervise hands-on experiments, projects, and activities that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork
4. Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, exams, and project assessments. Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth.
5. Tailor teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students including those with varying abilities.
6. Incorporate technology and digital tools effectively into STEM lessons, exposing students to cutting-edge tools and resources.
7. Inspire a love for STEM subjects by sharing real-world applications and examples, as well as stories of successful individuals in STEM fields.
8. Stay current with developments in STEM education, attend relevant workshops or training, and continually improve teaching skills.
