We are looking for a highlymotivated and skilled Area Manager to join our team. As an Area
Manager in our B2B Edtech company, you willbe responsible for managing and growing the business
in the assigned area. You will play acrucial role in understanding our product and integrated
solutions and effectively communicatingtheir impact on student learning. The ideal candidate should
possess a strong sales background in theeducation technology sector and be able to work
independently to drive results.
Responsibilities:
In-depth Understanding of Product & Integrated Solution.
Develop a comprehensive understanding ofour product and integrated solutions to
effectively communicate their benefits topotential clients.
Sales Pipeline Creation& Lead Generation:
Generate astrong sales pipeline through lead generation and prospectingactivities to
identify and target potentialschool clients.
School Owner Persona& Requirement Understanding:
Conduct thorough research to understand the persona andrequirements of school owners
to pitchappropriate solutions tailored to their needs.
Product Demo & Academic Discussions:
Conduct compelling product demos andacademic discussions with schools to showcase the
value and effectiveness of our solutions.
Negotiation & Agreement Closure:
Negotiate contracts and close agreementswith prospective clients to maximize successful
partnerships.
Handover to Key Account Team:
Successfully win partnerships with schoolsand handover the accounts to the Key Account
team for ongoing management.
CRMMaintenance:
Ensure the CRM is regularly updated with timely and accurateinformation about leads,
clients, andinteractions.
Industry Knowledge &Market Insights:
Stay updated with industrytrends, competitive offerings, and customer aspirations (School
Owners, Teachers, Parents, Students).
Adherence to Sales Process:
Follow the defined sales process andcontribute to its improvement by providing valuable
insights and feedback.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in B2B sales within the Edtechindustry.
Proven track record of achievingand exceeding sales targets.
Strongcommunication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as partof a team.
Excellent organizational andtime management abilities.
Willingness totravel within the assigned area as needed.
