Job description:
A political science teacher typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Teaching students about political science topics such as political theory, international relations, and law
- Meeting with parents to discuss their children’s progress and to assist them in understanding their child’s education needs
- Keeping current with developments in the field by reading professional journals and attending conferences
- Developing lesson plans that include practical applications of theoretical concepts
- Designing curriculum for special programs such as citizenship classes or preparing students for state exams
- Conducting research in their field of study and publishing findings in academic journals
- Preparing students for national exams such as the ACT or SAT by providing test preparation materials and lessons on test taking skills
- Assisting students with personal problems that may be affecting their academic performance
- Preparing assignments and grading tests, quizzes, and homework assignment
Requirements
Qualification-
BA, MA(pol science) and B.Ed
should have min 2-4year experience in teaching
