Primary Purpose
The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading the University sales effort to achieve the overall Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs’ revenue goal. Lead by example and supervise the team in promoting and selling University programs to potential students, leading inbound and outbound, and responding to inquiries from potential students. The primary function of this position is to maximise each opportunity to market programs to meet and exceed the enrolment targets for each program, as an individual and as a team.
Specific Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager – will be responsible for the following and other related duties assigned to support the sales objectives and purpose of the University.
· Generate high quality leads to support daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly recruitment targets
· Support marketing in leading the various BTL activities in local markets and satellite cities.
· Supervise and optimise sales resources to achieve their individual and overall team goals
· Train and develop a high-performance sales team, build a competitive, focused, and result-driven culture
· Utilise omni-communication channels to prospect, and reach out to leads
· Handle challenging sales cases, minimise lead wastage, and speed-up sales cycle
· Ensure all enrolment paperwork, information, and payment procedures are compliant
· Tracking and reporting on sales activities (i.e. leads, appointments, enrolment)
· Providing ongoing coaching/motivation to the team member to support successful conversion to the programs
· Planning and leading sales & marketing activities, lead management process, and conversion results
· Counselling on potential and actual cancellations
· Manage internal relationships with University counsellors, Marketing, and Sales Admission teams
Position Requirements

Education and Experience:
· Graduate with a minimum of 5 years of post-secondary admissions and/or student outreach experience is required
· Experience in building and leading >10 Campus sales member team
· Fluency in English and
· Prior work experience in sales for an edtech company is an asset
· Proficient in Microsoft applications
· Proficient in Photoshop or similar applications in an added advantage
