The EHL Asia-Pacific Office in Singapore is EHL’s first overseas office

Singapore is also the location of EHL’s first overseas campus due to open at the end of 2020

The team of 11 is responsible for MAAC (Marketing, Admissions and Recruitment, Alumni and Industry Relations, Communications) for the university in the region

The EHL Asia-Pacific Office is looking for a Recruitment Officer for the region of Asia-Pacific in India, preferably based in the Delhi area

Your mission is to be responsible for communicating with and providing information to potential students, their families and school officials regarding admissions policies, academic programs and other aspects of university life and graduate opportunities to help guide their decisions on post-secondary education and the options of studying abroad in Switzerland and Singapore

You will design and implement the student recruitment strategy in South Asia to reach the targeted number of applications and enrolments and increase the quality and diversity of candidates

This position reports to the Recruitment Manager Asia-Pacific

Your responsibilities Help prospective students to understand EHL’s offerings and to visualize the EHL experience; build effective relationships with key stakeholders (students, parents, school counselors, industry professionals, alumni) Provide complete and accurate information about programs, admissions process, student life, graduate employability and industry Responsible for being the key informed representative and the face of EHL in the region, exhibiting a consistently high level of professionalism and credibility as EHL’s spokesperson with all audiences Have a deep and relevant understanding of the assigned region, especially in the areas of education and hospitality, and its people Provide insight to and collaborate with the other MAAC team members in Asia-Pacific and globally to develop and enhance the EHL brand coherently in the region Design and implement a holistic student recruitment strategy for the region, taking all appropriate stakeholders into consideration, to achieve targets and a sustained year-on-year growth of application numbers Manage the effective follow up of and communication with online and offline leads to increase the conversion rate Participate actively in any online and offline admissions and recruitment related activities with both internal and external stakeholders including Open Days, Selection Days, School Visits, Education Fairs Complete training to deliver effective and engaging presentations that incorporate compelling stories about the EHL experience Engage continually and in a meaningful manner all relevant stakeholders to maximize enrolment yield Develop and manage relationships in the industry in the APAC region Identify and execute business opportunities for student recruitment in the region Collaborates and cooperates closely with the MAAC team and other departments who have a vested interest in student recruitment Proactively shares knowledge so that all team members can incorporate new information and techniques into their strategies Support the Admissions & Recruitment Senior Manager Asia-Pacific and Management by completing various ad-hoc requests and participating in various projects Region of Responsibility will be South Asia as a whole

Prerequisites Bachelor degree or equivalent diploma Excellent written and spoken English Working proficiency of French and Asian languages are desirable Preferably two years of work experience in a relevant field such as international higher education, marketing, sales or business development Professional experience in the hospitality industry is an added value Your profile Able to work independently and also as part of a team to lead the execution of strategic plans to achieve the ambitious student recruitment targets

This is a role that involves contact with people so you will need to be able to relate and communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, alumni, authorities and other institutions
