Requirements:

Should have a PhD with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record and a minimum of 10 years post-PhD experience, of which, at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc, IIMs, NITIE and IISER or at an equivalent Indian or foreign institution/ institution of comparable standards. Should have relevant high teaching, research, training and consulting credentials.
