Payment will be per hour based and Class duration will be 40min teaching + 10min preparation

Job Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated part-time teachers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of the subjects they will be instructing. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering online instruction, and assessing student progress in Science, English, and Mathematics for grades 6-8.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive lesson plans for Science, English, and Mathematics for students in grades 6-8.
• Conduct live online classes and facilitate interactive learning experiences.
• Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams.
• Provide timely feedback and support to students to help them achieve their academic goals.
• Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress and any concerns.
• Utilize digital tools and resources to enhance the learning experience.
• Participate in professional development and training sessions to stay current with educational best practices.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, English, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Valid teaching certification or license.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an online or remote setting.
• Strong knowledge of the subject matter and curriculum standards for grades 6-8.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using online teaching platforms and technology.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with diverse student populations.
• Familiarity with project-based learning and other innovative instructional strategies.
• Knowledge of current educational technology trends and tools.

Work Schedule:

• Part-time, flexible hours. Availability during peak times (e.g., afternoons and evenings) may be required.
• Ability to commit to a consistent schedule throughout the school year.
