Job Description
Role & responsibilities
– The key responsibility is teaching computers for children of class 4 10 in the specific government schools in North/ West Bengaluru. This will include:
- Planning lessons and activities that facilitate students interest, confidence and learning
- Teach foundational computers to students at various levels of difficulty, using different teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Observing and managing classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment
- Invigilating and grading projects, quizzes, and examinations to assess students progress
- Tracking and communicating students advancement throughout the course.
- Ensuring cleanliness, safety, maintenance and upkeep of computers (hardware/ software) and other equipment in the lab.
- Submitting periodic reports as required by the school/ DSF management
- Working with the school management and ensuring alignment to the school timetable, policies and practices.
– The selected candidate will be reporting to the Programme Manager at DSF.
Preferred candidate profile
– A Graduate degree in computer science/ computer applications or any graduate with excellent knowledge of basic computers and MS Office.
– Excellent communication skills in English & Kannada.
– Ability teach, engage and inspire under-privileged children of age 10-16
