The Alchemy team brings over 24 years of collective experience in the education and developmental drama arena of performing arts and theatre to AAPA, aiming to nurture young talents in the performing arts and beyond from the ages of 4 to 15.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Drama Teacher at Alchemy Academy Of Performing Arts located in Chennai. The Drama Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Speech & Drama sessions, storytelling activities and performing arts training for students on a day-to-day basis. The role includes nurturing creativity, confidence, communication skills, stage presence and expressive abilities through theatre-based learning methodologies. The selected candidates will be taken through an intensive training to design lesson plans that catalyse curiosity and help improve the learning curve, conduct rehearsals, prepare students for performances and presentations and create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages self-expression and collaborative learning.
