1. Assess social, and emotional strengths of children and their families referred for intervention. Counsel them as per the need.
2. Assess the family’s financial needs and arrange fee reductions or waivers as appropriate. Maintain the concession records.
3. Conduct home visits wherever necessary.
4. Assess the impact of family and social issues on the child’s academics. Develop a plan to work with parents to address these.
5. As needed, educate parents on child development and how to support their children’s needs.
6. Run a parent educational and support group and collaborate with Resource Teachers to develop educational materials and run groups for parents waiting during their children’s sessions.
