Director – School of Engineering
Role Overview
The Director – School of Engineering will provide strategic and academic leadership to the school, driving excellence in teaching, research, innovation, industry engagement, faculty development, and student success in alignment with NEP 2020 and the vision of IILM University.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Biotechnology and allied engineering programs at UG, PG, and Ph.D. levels.
- Drive curriculum innovation, interdisciplinary learning, and outcome-based education.
- Promote research, publications, patents, funded projects, and industry collaborations.
- Strengthen partnerships with industry, research institutions, startups, and government bodies.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop faculty while fostering a student-centric learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements and support institutional growth initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of academic, research, and administrative experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven record of research, industry engagement, and academic leadership.
