About the role
We have an exciting role as Social Media Manager to join our team. We’re looking for an experienced, passionate, and creative Social Media Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy across global markets to increase our online visibility and improve our marketing efforts. You will be working closely with internal stakeholders and creative teams.
Job responsibilities:
· Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy for global markets
· Define most important social media KPIs
· Ideate, create, manage and oversee social media content across markets
· Measure the success of every social media campaign
· Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
· Research competition and their social media presence and messaging to identify gaps in our social media strategy
· Experience using social media marketing tools
· Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is engaging and appealing to our different stakeholders
· Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to understand business and marketing requirements; and translating them into social media strategies
· Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization
Required Qualifications/ Skills:
· 7+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role in an ad agency. Prior working experience with education industry (preferred) and global clients
· Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness, lead generation and impressions
· Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google, Tik Tok, Snapchat, WhatsApp, YouTube and other social media best practices
· Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
· Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
· Good understanding of social media KPIs
· Familiarity with web design and publishing
· Excellent multitasking skills
· Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
· Team player
· Good time-management skills
· Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
Other information
· Base location is Bengaluru, office located in Koramangala; relocation is required.
· Work hours are 11 am to 8 pm, Monday to Friday with Hybrid working.
