We are looking for qualified and experienced candidates who can join immediately/next academic year 2022-23 for the following posts at Dheeraj International School, Pune

Maths/Science teacher

Qualifications: BSc/MSc/B.A./M.A. (Maths/Science)/Graduation in relevant field

B.Ed (Mandatory)

Timings: 7.45 A.M to 3.30 PM(Monday to Saturday(except for last Saturday)

Salary: ₹22000- ₹28000 /month

Experience: 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in a reputed school

Candidate should have:

i.Good Relevant Experience.

ii.Good communication skills.

iii.Good command over English Language.

iv.Comfortable working with computer hardware, software, networking and information delivery systems

v.Candidates should have taken both the doses of covid vaccination

Responsibilities and Duties

• Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students’ understanding and application of mathematical and scientific concepts.
• Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.
• Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
• Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
• Invigilating quizzes and final examinations.
• Documenting and reporting on students’ progress.
• Attending meetings with parents and staff.
• Ensure your pupils achieve learning outcomes that are above average in the subject of mathematics/science by instructing students in a clear, concise and fun way, and regularly preparing lesson plans that are engaging and incorporate the curriculum
• Incorporate the school’s objectives into your lesson plans by remaining up to date with mission and initiatives
• Attend staff development meetings to improve your skills and receive help and feedback from Principal and Vice Principal
• Regularly communicate with parents and legal guardians regarding child’s performance, track and record student progress and keep records up to date for progress reports and parent teacher meetings
• Review curriculum needs and execute plans for improvement, and provide instruction and additional support to students
• Act as a role model by making your students feel motivated while maintaining an approachable personality
• Attend school events to better understand student interest and personalities outside of the regular classroom, build strong relationships with your students and aid in the strengthening of their self-confidence while inspiring them to achieve high goals
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

XXIII. Inculcate discipline in students and classroom.Maintain a safe, orderly and supportive classroom by modelling expected behaviour and standards, promoting positive interactions and quickly addressing behaviours that are not in line with the school discipline plan

XXIV. Monitor students’ progress in the subject and overall academic development.

XXV. Design student assessment systems and methodologies.Grading papers, Evaluate student performance on tasks established by the standards using different methods such as observation, performance-based tasks or other standard test practices.

• Designing, developing, and delivering quality lesson plans and curricula that adhere to national and school guidelines.
• Drawing up suitable assessments and delivering helpful feedback to students, parents, and other teachers.
• Establishing classroom, lab, and field trip rules and regulations and ensuring that all students understand what is expected of them.
• Setting up demonstrations and assisting and supervising students while they conduct experiments.
• Providing extra resources, support, and interventions for students who are struggling.
• Ensuring all permission slips are signed in a timely manner and acting as a field tripfacilitator andguide when required.
• Creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and voicing concerns.
• Participating in other school activities and regularly communicating with parents.

XXXIV. Instruct students on proper use of equipment, materials, aids and textbooks.

XXXV. Set and monitor standards of student behaviour.

XXXVI. Assist staff members in assessing students’ attitude, learning problems.

XXXVII. Advice parents on students’ progress and development.

XXXVIII. Organize class time as per the instructional plans.

XXXIX. Maintain inventory of instructional materials, aids and equipment.

XL. Prepare teaching aids

XLI. Ensure compliance of teaching objectives of the curriculum and to the rules and standard procedures.

• Deliver high-quality, engaging instruction in the form of discussion, direct teaching, demonstrations and independent practice using a variety of proven methods and pedagogy.
• Differentiate lessons when needed to give all students access to the curriculum regardless of disability, instructional level, English proficiency or level of interest in the subject.
• Improve skills and knowledge in teaching by regularly taking classes, attending workshops and discovering new methods of delivering exciting content to students.
