Operational Duties
Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and upcoming tasks.
Foster a positive team environment.
Regularly check in with team members to monitor progress on assigned tasks.
Address any roadblocks or challenges hindering task completion.
Facilitate effective communication within the engineering department.
Organize regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, challenges, and solutions.
Schedule and conduct regular design and drawing review meetings.
Ensure that the project team, including engineers and relevant stakeholders, participates in these reviews. Document feedback and decisions made during the review process.
Evaluate existing inventory levels to determine what materials are already available.
Communicate with suppliers to understand lead times, production capacities, and potential challenges.
Generate purchase orders based on the material requirements and demand forecasts.
Essential/ Key Responsibilities
Provide assistance and guidance to the project team working at the site.
Address any on-site issues or challenges faced by the team.
Ensure that the project team has the necessary resources and support for successful project execution.
Collaborate with the Head Office to align project activities with organizational goals.
Provide regular updates to the Head Office on project progress, challenges, and key milestones.
Assist in coordinating activities between the project site and the Head Office.
Promptly address and resolve any issues that arise at the project site.
Implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Ensure that all resolutions are within the defined in TAT.
Develop and maintain project trackers to monitor and track progress.
Include key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones in the trackers for effective progress measurement.
Regularly update and analyze the trackers to ensure project goals are being met.
Develop and maintain a tracker to monitor the billing cycle for the project.
Ensure accurate and timely billing to clients based on project milestones and deliverables.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to streamline the billing process.
Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop project plans.
Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Create and maintain project documentation, including timelines and schedules.
Identify and address issues that may impact project progress.
Collaborate with the project team to find solutions to challenges.
Escalate issues to higher management when necessary.
