What is Communication Excellence?
Communication Excellence (CE) is housed under LHP. It is part of the broader Learning & Development (L&D) team. CE helps take businesses to take a more strategic view of their communication development with structured and tangible solutions, collaborating and performance consulting. This role is aligned to serve as a Strategic Business Advisor & Curriculum Lead of the CE team.
Apart from leading a team of CE professionals who are aligned to different businesses catering to communication skills development (for their businesses), will also have the incumbent focus on design capabilities preferably in Instructional Design (ID) and Stakeholder Management in addition to Facilitation and Coaching.
What you’ll do?
Stakeholder Relationship Management

Ÿ Build effective relationships with key stakeholders in businesses, Learning & Development teams, core CE team, business identified learning champions and broader talent network related to CE development projects and other key stakeholders who have a vested interest in the success of CE interventions
Ÿ Showcase business advisory skills by focusing on developing a deep understanding of the different businesses, its challenges, and the opportunities present with respect to communications skills development. Always present a learning POV on CE initiatives by understanding the business context, building relationships with stakeholders, developing a business mindset, using data to inform decision-making, and conducting external market research to keep up with communication skills industry trends
Ÿ Constantly build relationships with stakeholders by opening regular channels of communication to understand their learning needs, interests, and expectations. Enhance stakeholder relationship by keeping them informed about the progress of CE interventions, programs, share success stories, and seek feedback. This will also assist in tailoring CE programs to meet business specific requirements
Ÿ Prepare draft presentations and reports to support stakeholder meetings on CE learning interventions
Ÿ Lead CE project teams to build positive, collaborative partnerships among business stakeholders, and peers when owning CE deliverables for each business to put the CE strategy in place
Ÿ Encourage CE team members to engage their stakeholders in the design and delivery of CE offerings at multiple stages. Constantly check about CE programs and interventions in all businesses are aligned with business objectives to demonstrate the value of CE offerings and help gain stakeholder support for your team members
Ÿ Gain stakeholder trust by showcasing the measurement, impact and report-out of CE offerings across by utilizing CE InfoCenter, Learning completion reports and other report-outs tools. Encourage constant use of learning data to draw insights and demonstrate the effectiveness of CE learning programs and showcase needle movement.
Ÿ Build a network of CE Learning champions: Identify and build relationships with business learning champions and L&D SPOCs who can further contribute / be the face of CE initiatives within different businesses. These champions can help build support and promote the benefits of CE programs.
Ÿ Maintain relationships with content-based leads (SMRs)
Operations Management and Strategy Development

Ÿ Identify areas for operational improvement, making suggestions and driving change to gain efficiencies and improve learning impact of CE interventions across different businesses

Ÿ Conduct external research to find impactful leading-edge capability-building learning strategies, partnerships, and programs to support strategy implementation

Ÿ Facilitate learning programs via live in-person and the virtual medium on core language proficiency attributes to junior, middle, and senior management
Ÿ Choose appropriate training methods depending on content and audience per case (can be, be not limited to: virtual, simulated, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes, etc). Exhibit zeal and confidence to bolster attendees’ participation while facilitating learning programs
Ÿ Design team based and individual courses focused on Language Proficiency and Culturally nuanced themes, oversee maintenance of records related to the curriculum and materials while also gather feedback on the quality of trainings from participants and instructors
Ÿ Use different coaching methodologies to offer 1:1 coaching, group coaching and personalized coaching to professionals on core language proficiency, cultural nuances and leadership attributes
Ÿ Appreciate the vision of LHP and then tailor communication skills related training programs and experiences for new hires & experienced professionals accordingly
Ÿ Plan, execute, and lead curriculum development activities; leverage SMRs and existing materials; review deliverables for accuracy and quality .
Ÿ Collaborate with Talent Services (Learning Development, Learning Operations, and Learning Delivery) to create and deliver leading-edge learning solutions.
Ÿ Execute the CPE/certification process from objective mapping to form submission to participant receiving credits.
Ÿ Collaborate with Learning Operations to maintain accurate curriculum data integrity, maintain historical archives, and respond to ad hoc requests for curriculum information.
Ÿ Maintain strong knowledge of development tools, modalities, and learning methodologies.
