Purpose:
The primary role of this position is to collaborate with the educational institutions and functionaries at District / Block and Cluster level for understanding teacher needs, Design need based modules and smooth implementation of Training programs for Education functionaries and Teachers at Block and Cluster level. Coordinate with the Dept for post training evaluation and studies for ascertaining the outcomes and impacts of the program

Job Title:
Learning and Development SME Math with proficiency in Urdu language

Location:
Candidate is expected to work from the office (Bangalore) and expected to travel to the field locations based on the needs.

Currently works in Ramanagara, Tumakuru & Madhugiri educational districts and is actively working towards expanding the programs to various other districts in Karnataka.

Key Responsibilities:

• The primary responsibility of Learning and Development SME – Mathematics is to Design hands-on experiential learning modules for K-12 teachers both in Curricular and Co-Curricular modules such as teacher professional development module in Math Pedagogy in Urdu.
• Precisely identify the gaps in the teaching and learning processes at schools and develop appropriate tools, methods, and processes need to plug those gaps in order to improve learning outcomes.
• Represent the organization at various levels of the education department and establish strong working relationship with the stakeholders.
• Understand organizational vision, goals, and activities at the District, Block / Cluster and School level and plan the programs in the district accordingly.
• Actively participate in design, planning, implementation, monitoring, review, and documentation of program activities.
• Visit the field locations to interact with stakeholders at district and block level and also participate in meetings and reviews of the training programs implemented.
• Facilitate relevant training sessions for the Teachers and education functionaries along with the other teams of company
• Collaborate with other teams in tasks like drafting, proof reading documents and reports using consistent and crisp language, support in the creation of storyboards for videos

Qualifications & Skills Required:
– Proficiency in Urdu language is a requisite: Reading, Writing and Speaking – Strong Academic Background M.Sc in Mathematics/ B.E / M. Tech, B.Ed / M.Ed Any specialization that provides enough skill in Science teaching- learning methods.- Knowledge of NCERT and DSERT curriculum, Math Pedagogy – Creative and out-of-the-box thinking- Good communication skills in Urdu, English and Kannada is preferable. – Basic knowledge of translation is essential.- Ability to collaborate with Officers of the education dept and internal team members towards attainment of both individual and collective team goals. – Strong analytical skills. Working knowledge of tools like Excel, Power point, word etc is a must.- Documentation skills in both English & Urdu is essential.- Documentation skills in Kannada is preferable.- Passion for Education and social change and Willingness to learn & work in Govt School space- Travel to field locations is expected and mandatory.
